Roorkee: Quantum University, a distinguished institution renowned for its commitment to excellence in education, has commenced its inspiring series of Alumni Talk Sessions for its incoming MBA batch on its sprawling campus. As a part of its orientation curriculum, the University has kickstarted its Alumni Interactions for MBA freshers from 29th July which will continue throughout the academic year. The Alumni Interactions witnessed accomplished alumni representing various batches of B.Tech, BCA, MBA, M.Tech, and Ph.D. across varied fields like finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, and technology. Alumni speakers shared personal stories, industry insights, and practical advice to empower students as they embark on their academic journey.
Mr. Ajay Goyal, Chairman of Quantum University welcomed the alumni and extended his heartfelt wishes. He shared his thoughts saying, “We are delighted to host our distinguished alumni for these enriching sessions. Their journeys prove Quantum University’s commitment to education and inspire our students’ pursuit of excellence”. On the inaugural day, the stage was graced by Mrs. Kalpana Rohella Sharma, a distinguished alumna and Senior TA Professional at Wow Softech Pvt Ltd, New Delhi. In her talk, she said, “It was a nostalgic and fulfilling experience to return to Quantum University. The varied learning environment prepared me for challenges and triumphs, and I’m glad I could share this journey with you.” She shared her remarkable journey, highlighted the challenges she overcame, and celebrated her successes, all under the theme “All About My Career Experience.”
As the session progressed, the focus shifted to other accomplished alumni. Ms. Swati Mittal, a Demand Planner at WH Smith, London, shared her expertise on “Supply Chain and Data Analytics,” shedding light on the evolving landscape of these crucial areas. Meanwhile, Mr. Amit Rathi, Sales Manager at Hotel Saffron Leaf, contributed his insights on the “Various Challenges in Hotel Industries,” giving students a practical understanding of real-world scenarios.
During further sessions, Mr. Rishabh Agarwal, Sales Manager at Bajaj Finance Ltd, shared insights on “Personality Development,” emphasizing both professional growth and the integral role of personal development. He said, “Cultivating a strong personality is the cornerstone of success, both professionally and personally”. Ms. Khushobb Ansari, HR and Marketing Generalist at Mahalaxmi Industries illuminated the significance of effective communication in professional contexts, while Mr. Rahul Singhal, Entrepreneur and Founder of Shagun Healthcare, provided a comprehensive understanding of industry dynamics, highlighting innovation and perseverance as keys to success. The candid interactions between these professionals and budding business leaders created an environment of knowledge exchange, bridging the gap between academia and industry.
